Bid-Ask Volume Ratio

Use Visualized Price Action to Spot Divergence.

This indicator plots positive values above the zero line, and negative below.

A positive value above the zero line suggests there is enough market support to continue to drive price activity in the direction of the current trend. A negative value below the line suggests there is a lack of support and prices may begin to become stagnant or reverse.

The Bid/Ask Volume ratio compares the representation of buyers vs. sellers over a period of time. It helps identity divergence and/or trend changes based on price action.

The assumption is that if a stock closes UP, the attributable volume was induced by buying activity and thus the instrument is under accumulation. Conversely, if a instrument closes DOWN, the trading activity is deemed to be selling induced, a sign of distribution.
